As the great Butthead once said “Warp speed, Mister Zulu!”
This is how I have felt lately. I set a target and have headed towards it at warp speed with full focus!
I spend most of my time setting up sites for affiliate marketing. A majority of my income online comes from promoting affiliate products, products on eBay, Amazon and through Adsense.
I knew eventually I would have to expand. Now is that time!
I’ve decided to start creating some of my own products. My goal is to make products that are simple to use and implement.
I want everybody that uses my product or guide to see results!
It’s great to have a nice product with fancy packaging but if it doesn’t work you basically just wasted money on a pile of crap.
We’ve all done it. We’ve read the fancy sales letter or watched the fancy video and made the purchase.
One of three things usually ends up happening.
1. You never even bother trying the product or course.
2. You start using the product or course, but never complete it.
3. You start and finish the course and find out it was a bunch of garbage and doesn’t work.
A majority of us will usually fall into the second category.
The reason we quit is usually overwhelm or a lack of focus.
I too have given up before completing courses I have purchased!
I have actually given up on courses that were actually showing results! What an idiot I am!
But you know what, I’m happy I did!
Why?
Because I know exactly why I gave up. I realize while creating my own products, I need to combat the feelings I had when I quit. I need to help my customers push through these urges to give up.
I took something that I didn’t finish, or failed at, and I learned from it.
You should look to do the same.
Sit down and think about all the stuff you ‘think” you failed at, or gave up on.
Now think about what you learned from that experience.
By learning something you can turn that failure into a positive and become a better person because of it!
Now get out there and fail…that’s right fail…fail until you learn enough to succeed!

Hi Eric,
I believe that whatever you have written up there is true… you won't ever know what you have missed in perfection until you fail..
Failure teaches and it teaches really good. I too had given up on some plans that I thought will do wonders in my business, but they didn't so I gave up on them one by one. But later on I realized that somewhere I gained an insight about my weakness in the strategy building. And I have corrected it.
Thanks for this wonderful post. I greatly enjoyed it.
You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Now I understand why our elders said that failure is mere another step towards success
So true! I used to get discouraged when I failed at something. Now I actually get kind of excited because I’ve figured out another way that doesn’t work…which brings me closer to the ones that do!
Yeah sometimes I also thinks that it is the mistakes and failures which grooms you and make you mature but if and only if you are determinant to complete your tasks and achieve your goal.
