Michelle McPhearson’s Rank Decoding Engine Software

Yesterday, I alerted my list to this new software Michelle just released.

The software is called the Rank Decoding Engine. >> Available Here

Here’s a brief overview of how it works…

You enter keywords that you target with your site or niche into the software.

The software then spits out a list of the authority sites that rank the highest for your terms or niche.

These are the sites that you should be working your ass off to get links on.

Can it get any easier? You tell the software what you want to rank for and it tells you exactly what sites Google wants to see your links on.

Give it a try! Michelle has it up for free right now, but I’m not sure how long that will last.

Here’s the link again….go now before it is removed.

This tool does it all, what else can you desire for. This tool saves all your research time.

This is amazing, thanks for introducing it.

You are welcome. I've added this to my list of favorite tools and combined with Market Samruai I hope to make some big jumps in the Search Engines for the keywords I target. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Nothing against you for posting this tool because it does serve up a lot of hype that makes complete sense on the surface, but nothing could be further from the truth. As a full-time white hat SEO for a reputable firm, allow me to offer some advice from my perspective — something to truly help people and not mislead them like I feel this tool does.

First of all, if you build a link on, let's say… the top 50 of those social sites, then you're only doing yourself a favor — regardless of if it's YouTube in 1st place one week or 15th the next or 35th over the span of 30 days. The tool *doesn't* account for how long it takes Google to find your page and index it in the first place. Even *if* you build links to the pages you create on those social media sites, there's *still* no telling how long it will take for Google to find and index you. The takeaway? Keep building links! Just keep building links. There are no magical formulas and there's no “best site” on any given day to create a page on.

Second, the keyword functionality of the tool is good for something but NOT what she claims. Think about it: If my market is “making money online,” then I might find through keyword research that I should use “make money online,” “making money online,” and “get rich online” as my golden keywords. Now, go ahead and pop those into the keyword tool. Go ahead, I'll wait…………. okay, now go to the overview that shows you the top pages for the combination of all your keywords. Now, go start trying to build links on those sites. Chances are, if a site is ranking highly in a niche like that, do you think they're going to let you build a link on THEIR authority site!? Maybe you would, but I surely wouldn't! Even if they do, do you think they would dofollow the link? Good luck actually getting *any* usage out of that tool for link building on authority sites in your niche!

Positives of the tool are gaining a huge list of top social networking sites and then using the keyword functionality for competition analysis, i.e., finding out who reigns supreme in the niche you're interested in. Other than that, this tool FAR from “reverse engineers Google's algorithm.” Sadly, more fluff from another self-proclaimed guru.

Thanks for your time. =)

Stephen I appreciate you taking the time to comment on my blog.

I agree with you when you say you must continue to build links. I also agree there is no “best site”, but I do believe that some sites are more important than others. And from my experience prior to even using Michelle's tool, I have seen a much greater increase in rankings when posting on sites that already rank high in Google for the keywords I'm targeting. I understand that you will not be able to post a link on every site that appears in her tool. In fact Michelle even mentions that in the video, but most people are so eager to try something they don't always read the instructions or watch the tutorials. Michelle never claims that you can link from every site. In fact about the 7:40 mark in the video she says you won't be able to leave a link on all the sites and should focus on the ones you can.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said “Positives of the tool are gaining a huge list of top social networking sites and then using the keyword functionality for competition analysis, i.e., finding out who reigns supreme in the niche you're interested in.” I believe this is how Michelle hoped you would use the tool as well.

Of course not every tool is for everyone, but I stand by my recommendation of this tool. It's free to download and if it helps someone move their site up the rankings then I'm happy. If it doesn't they can stop using it. My feelings won't be hurt. :)

I respect your opinion and appreciate you sharing it here. Best of luck to you!
